Railway is the main commuting Media in India. Lakhs of passengers travel from one corner to other corner throughout India by Railway.

PRESENT SYSTEM :-

There are Signalling Procedure between Motorman & Guard of the train i.e. The Guard of the train blows the whistle to indicate that the train is about to leave the platform. They speak on “Walkie Talkie” and then the Guard & Motorman show the GREEN Flag / Torch – to each other.

Our stations are very crowded & noisy, hence the whistle is heard only up to last 2 to 3 bogies of the train, means the whistle is unheard by most of the passengers and they keep on boarding or alighting the train up to the last Second which can be a major cause for an accident.

All this menace can be avoided if the Whistle warning is heard by all the passengers Boarding or Alighting the train.

PROPOSED SYSTEM :-

We have developed a Unique Device called “WHISTLING TRANSMITTER SYSTEM”.  With the use of this device Whistle warning can be heard throughout the platform on which  the train is about to leave the station.

This device will provide an ‘AUDIO’ warning indication to warn the passengers to board or  alight the train immediately before train leaves the platform. This warning can avoid an accident.

The unit will be installed on the platform near the Guard’s cabin. The Guard will press the  switch on the unit, which will Automatically Transmit Amplified Whistle twice from existing  Speakers on platform. This will give warning to the passengers that the train is about to leave the  platform thus they will get sufficient time to board / alight the train and the accident can be avoided.

TECHNICAL FEATURES :-

After pressing ‘TRIGGER’ switch, the Amplified, Programmed Whistle will blow Automatically twice
within 10 seconds.
