SCOPE :-
Previously, it was very difficult to communicate at the time of signal failures. The Motorman could not contact the Station Master to know the causes of signal failures & for further instructions. A man from nearby station had to go to the halted train and convey the messages. Thus the trains were delayed for a long period. To avoid this delay & to have instant direct Communication with each other, 2 Wire Talk Back System for IBS was developed.
FEATURES :-
- Solid State circuitry working on 110V AC OR 12V DC OR 24V DC is incorporated.
- Compact & robust Master Cabinet is of M.S. & a Slave Cabinet duly powder coated to protect from atmospheric conditions.
- Glassy Epoxy Printed Circuit Boards with moisture proof special lacquer & green masking to protect from hot sun as well as from heavy rain.
- “Press to Talk” switches for instant communication are used.
- Sensitive Microphones & 4″ Speakers for clear reception are used.
- All switches are sturdy & of reliable quality.

- External noise to conversation [signal] is very low.
- Hand free operation for both the units for receiving signals only.
- Terminal strips of industrial – high grade – screw fixing type of 10 amp Capacities.
- Master Unit is of Table-Top model & Slave unit is of Pole mounting type [hanging arrangement to the Pole is provided]. The Slave unit’s cover protects the water from getting inside the unit.
- Only “Press to Talk” Switches be operated for conversation.
- A visual indication [Red LED] is provided for mains supply to the Master Unit.
