SCOPE :-
This system is used for emergency communication in tunnel. This unit is used by the Station Master. When there is an emergency in tunnel, driver of the train having 2W / 4W Portable Control Telephone with Code Generator working on 3V DC of ACES make can communicate with the Station Master by inserting “6 Pin Emergency Plug” of Portable Control Telephone into the socket. Driver of the train can call Station Master by pressing CALL button given on Portable Control Telephone in 4 wire mode only even if the Tunnel System is in Standby mode. This is Hand Free system.

The system has “PRESS TO CALL” facility. When the selective Switch at caller unit is operated for other Receiver Unit, a DTMF Signal is transmitted to the Receiver Unit. There will be Visual and Audio alarm indications on the receiver unit, which attracts the attention at other end.

Indications:-
A. Incoming Ring :-
i) Visual : Yellow LED
ii) Audio : Buzzer for audible tone.
B. Power ON :- Green LED

Incoming Ring through Pizzo Buzzer even Power supply Switch is in OFF Position.

On getting an Audio & Video indication, the Caller unit will Switch ON the system and starts the conversation, without operating any Switch.

ON / OFF Switch – ON for communication & OFF for incoming Ring.

Equipment is protected from:
Surge & transients current from lightning.
