2 WIRE WAY STATION CONTROL TELEPHONE – IRS: TC: 37-97 Approved In Part – I

SCOPE:-

“2 Wire Way Station Control Telephone” is developed as per the specification of RDSO LUCKNOW “IRS: TC: 37-97” & to suit the requirements of  Railway Stations communication. The system is incorporated with Speech Circuit, Line Interface & Micro – Switch operated Handset for communication. The unit is housed in an aesthetic telephone Cabinet of ABS plastic material. The “USER” has to operate the Micro – Switch [Press to Talk] till his conversation is over.

FEATURES:-

1. The system works on 12V DC supply.
2. This system is housed in an aesthetic telephone Cabinet of ABS plastic material.
3. Glass Epoxy PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD [P.C.B.] is used for better environmental performance.
4. Ferrite core Transformer is used for miniaturization and better quality performance.
5. The Telephone Unit has Trans & Receive speech circuits.
6. Electrodynamic Transducers for both Transmitter & Receiver are used.
7. Visual & Audio Indications:- RED LED [5mm] for Incoming Ring & Buzzer for audible tone.
8. Equipment should be protected from:
   1. Surge & transients current from lightning.
   2. Acoustic protections to receiver.
   3. Reverse Polarity.
9. Required No. of Telephones is connected on only pair of conductors [OMNIBUS CHANNEL].

10. Communication between two persons [USER & CONTROLER] is established with the help of Speech Circuit, Line Interface & Micro – switch operated Handset.
